Competition History
We take huge pride in performing and being a competing Chorus. We regularly take part in Barbershop conventions and music festivals across the country.
Until recently Spinnaker was a chapter of Sweet Adelines International, competing in the Quartet of Nations – Region 31 convention, an annual event held in May. We spend a great proportion of the year preparing for this competition, polishing our choreography and perfecting our harmonies to ensure we perform to the best of our ability.
In January 2018 Spinnaker joined LABBS (Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers). In October 2018 we competed in our first LABBS convention in Harrogate where we were overjoyed to win the Bronze Medal.
