With great excitement Spinnaker announce that we have joined the Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers or LABBS as it is more affectionately known.
LABBS, established in 1976, is one of only three Barbershop singing organisations in the U.K. and the only purely British one for female singers. With over 2000 members in 50 clubs across the U.K LABBS continues to grow and supports it’s membership, educating in the wonderful genre of Barbershop harmony singing.
As a competing chorus we’re looking forward to the LABBS Convention, which takes place in Harrogate in October. We will perform on stage with many other fabulous LABBS choruses, some we know and others we’ve not yet had the pleasure to meet.
So a new year brings a new start for Spinnaker Chorus and fun, exciting times ahead.
