A small but perfectly formed group of Spinnakerettes recently braved the chilly weather at Port Solent’s Odeon cinema. They sang for an hour outside and handed out advertising leaflets to ladies who had or were visiting the cinema to see Military Wives. The film is about service wives who formed a choir for friendship and support whilst their partners/husbands were away serving our country.
Singing in a choir is so physically and mentally rewarding, liberating and immensely beneficial to health.
