We were delighted to welcome around 13 enthusiastic women who joined us for the evening to experience the joy of a Spinnaker Wednesday.
After warming up our bodies and voices, we had great fun learning a song in four-part harmony. I think we all impressed ourselves with how quickly we picked it up — and how great we sounded together!
Our guests had the chance to rehearse within our sections, as well as listen to some of our repertoire, both on the risers and from the auditorium. It was fascinating to hear the individual parts and see how they come together to create the full sound.
As it was tea-and-cake week, there was plenty of opportunity to chat, ask questions, and share just how brilliant it is to sing with Spinnaker. We always relish the chance to sing to an audience, and it was especially lovely to finish the evening singing all together.
